4 Bedroom Villa - La Hacienda Villa Bali sits high on a hill overlooking the famous Padang-Padang beach near Uluwatu. This is a super villa to stay at especially if you enjoy spending your days relaxing on quiet white sandy beaches away from the crowds of Kuta.
Along the same stretch of coast you will also discover several other famous beaches that are great for surfers and non-surfers alike with the breaks of Bingin, Impossible, Balangan and Uluwatu all close by; these are all well away from the tourist beaches and within easy reach of the villa.
The villa has stunning views out across the ocean and on a less humid days the volcanoes of Bali an even the neighboring island of Java are all clearly visible. La Hacienda is blessed year round with refreshing ocean breezes and very comfortable, especially at night time when it is possible to sleep without the air-conditioning on.
La Hacienda Villa Bali is the Balinese home of a world renowned artist, famous for his impressionist paintings, many of which depict scenes of Balinese life. Several of his paintings are on display at the villa and for serious art collectors appointments can be arranged to meet with the artist in his studio to view the latest creations. The villa is a fusion of traditional Balinese and Spanish design, hence the name "La Hacienda" which means "The Country House". It is a very simple but spacious villa with lots of open spaces that take advantage of the warm climate and ocean breezes.
The Bedrooms
La hacienda has 4 bedrooms in the main house all of which are air-conditioned. Each room has its own en-suite bathroom equipped with a shower (c/w hot & cold water), wash basin and a toilet. There is also a guest toilet that can be used for visitors and this is located in the small courtyard at the rear of the landing that leads to the bedrooms.

The Swimming Pool
The centerpiece of this beautiful villa has to be the uniquely shaped 21 x 8 meter (70ft x 26ft) infinity style swimming pool that gives the illusion of swimming into the horizon. The pool is tiled with turquoise stone tiles specially imported from the neighboring island of Java. At the eastern end of the pool is a shady terrace complete with sun beds, parasol and table. This is a great place to spend the day relaxing.
Entertainment
On the west side of the pool is a two storey pavilion built following traditional Balinese design with coconut wood, bamboo and alang-alang grass roof. On the ground floor of this pavilion you will discover a shady place for relaxing, this is a great place for getting together with friends for a BBQ. There is a CD player in the main house that can be used here for background music. Please note that loud music and wild parties are not encouraged at this villa.
On the upper level there is a relaxing lounge space that has uninterrupted 360' views of the surrounding area. Here there are 2 large loungers where you can laze in the shade with a cool drink and a book, there is also a dining table and chairs so you can eat & enjoy the views, a very romantic place for candlelit dinners.
Back in the main house there is a television with satellite decoder that give global access to more than 30 channels, including many children's channels, in several languages. There are also some children's toys and playthings available on request.
Car & Driver
The villa comes with an air-conditioned 7 seat car and English speaking driver so it is easy to leave the villa and explore the shops, restaurants or even to take a tour of the many famous landmarks Bali has to offer.
The Garden
All of this is set among a large 3,0002 meter garden that has many shady places to sit and relax. In true Hacienda style there are many varieties of fruits, vegetables and herbs grown here including papaya, mango's, water melons, oranges, grapes, lemons etc and a lot of the herbs & flavorings used by cook are freshly picked from the garden.
Excellent Food
We supply you with an excellent cook who can create mouthwatering western and also Indonesian dishes plus succulent salads. In addition the girls that work at the villa have been trained by the Spanish owner to prepare Mediterranean style foods and the specialties of the house are; BBQ Paella - Rice dish. Tortilla - Potato Omelet. Tapas - A Spanish Snack.
Gazpacho - cold vegetable soup. Fresh Fish - Daily from the market. Tuna, Tenggiri, Snapper, Mai Mai etc. The main dining table in the main house seats up to 12 people and can easily be extended to cater for large dinner parties. Ordering food is easy, all you need to do is agree a menu, supply the ingredients and cook will prepare and serve everything for you.
Exploring the Surrounding Area
The villa is in a still relatively undeveloped area and there is an abundance of wildlife including many species of birds to be discovered in the surrounding countryside. For the more adventurous there are many footpaths through the hills that lead to nearby villages, the beach is only 1 km away at the base of the hill. La Hacienda attracts a lot of repeat business because of its warm atmosphere, relaxing location and of course great food! We guarantee you will enjoy staying here.
NOTE: This villa is extremely sought after, especially during the holiday months of July/August and X-mas/ New Year so early booking is advised.

Terms of Payment
• A deposit of 50% of the total rental amount is required within 7 days of receiving our reservation confirmation form with the final balance to be paid in cash at the villa upon arrival.
• For bookings made 7 days or less before arrival, full final cash payment is required at the villa upon arrival.
• All payments are to be made in US dollars either via electronic bank transfer (account details will be given at time of booking) or by cash in US dollar bank notes at the villa. For electronic transfers, guests will be responsible for any bank charges incurred. - Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy
• For bookings that are cancelled 31 days or more before arrival, deposits will be returned in full less a US$ 100 administrative fee.
• For bookings that are cancelled 30 days or less before arrival, deposits will be non-refundable.
• Notices of cancellation must be received in writing (by fax, email or mail).
• In cases where a guest has confirmed a booking with a deposit but we have yet to receive the balance of payment and the booking is cancelled, the guest will be responsible for the payment. - F&B
Foods and beverages are on guest's account. First dinner in villa for a late check-in and/or first breakfast can be arranged upon request. All expenses are at guest's account.
