4 Bedroom Villa - The four-bedroom Villa Double N is modern, spacious and ideal for families or groups of friends. Embracing the Indonesia culture with ornately carved reproduction colonial furnishings, photographic artwork, stone carved friezes and local artefacts, the villa presents a varied choice of both air-conditioned and alfresco rooms for dining and relaxing.

Villa Double N is a contemporary, four-bedroom, rental villa in Bali, resting on 12 are of land, in the traditional village of Berawa on the Island’s southwest coast. The villa is located two kilometers from a rugged surf beach and approximately 25 minutes’ drive from the trendy Seminyak area.

This luxury Bali holiday villa is comprised of a two-storey building housing two bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, office and a kitchen, together with an upstairs open air lounge and a poolside living & dining area. There is also a single-storey guest pavilion with two bedrooms, one of which is complemented by a plunge pool. Villa Double N rests in an enchanting garden complete with a 20-metre swimming pool.

Dining Room

The air-conditioned dining room, with its cool marble floor, is furnished with a sideboard and a table for 10, complemented by cushioned dining chairs and bench seats. Down lights in the ceiling create a restful mood, and wide folding glass doors open directly into the garden. An elaborately carved Javanese screen wall separates the dining room from the living room.

Location

Villa Double N is located within the beautiful agricultural belt between Kuta and Tanah Lot, an area that is home to some of the most luxurious private residences on the island. The trendy Seminyak area, with its wide choice of international restaurants—including the famous ‘Ku Dé Ta’, ‘Kafé Warisan’, ‘Living Room’, ‘Hu’u’, ‘La Lucciola’ and ‘Sarong’—together with a plethora of chic cocktail bars, exciting nightclubs, lavish spas and elegant boutiques, is a mere 25 minutes’ drive away. Neighbouring sporting facilities include the Canggu Club, offering sports, social and leisure facilities, with a state-of-the art gym, a 25-metre swimming pool and a tennis & squash centre. For horse lovers, the Umalas Equestrian Centre is just a few kilometres away, and Nirwana Golf Course—designed by Greg Norman and renowned as one of the best golf courses in Asia—is a 20-minute drive. The nearby Berawa Beach is known for its world-class surf breaks, offering an exposed reef break with consistent surf. May to October (dry season) is the favoured time for waves. Reef breaks provide lefts and rights—in fact, the neighbouring Canggu Beach presents one of the few right-hand waves on the west coast of Bali. The simple warungs (eateries) next to The Beach House at Echo Beach are all surfer hangouts. The villa is 40 minutes’ from the international airport, and convenient for all of the Island’s main shopping malls and tourist attractions, including Tanah Lot, Bali’s most dramatic and venerated sea temple.

Bedrooms

There are four bedrooms at Villa Double N. Two bedrooms, including the master, are located upstairs in the main building and accessed from a broad timber-floored balcony affording lovely rice field views. The other two bedrooms are housed in a stand-alone guesthouse. Each bedroom features a soaring timber-lined roof. The Master bedroom is furnished with a stunningly carved king-size four poster bed, draped in snowy netting. The Master also boasts a dressing area with fitted wardrobes and a relaxation area furnished with upholstered daybed and ottomans; large windows swing open to the gorgeous rice field views. The second bedroom in the main building is furnished with twin beds. The two bedrooms in the guest pavilion each have bangkirai wood floors, window seats, and fitted cupboards; one is furnished with a king bed and the other with twin beds.

Each ensuite bathroom is fitted with a walk-in rain shower, wall mirrors, a toilet, and a vanity unit supporting double washbasins. The two bathrooms in the main building each have the added benefit of a bathtub, while one of the bathrooms in the guest pavilion opens onto a plunge pool. The other bathroom in the guest pavilion is complemented by a relaxation bale.

Living Room

The air-conditioned living room is characterized by a cream marble floor and lots of natural light. It is furnished with huge, comfortable segmented sofas and ottomans, and is equipped with a 42” satellite channel TV, DVD and CD player with quality speakers. The room is accessed directly from the majestically carved front door, or alternatively via the dining room, or from the garden through the folding glass doors. A guest washroom is conveniently situated off the living room.

Open-air lounge

The upstairs balcony extends over a bridge into an upstairs open-sided lounge sheltered by a roof. This delightful sitting room, with views on all sides, is furnished with a circular table and chairs with rattan seats. A huge cushioned daybed extends the length of one wall. The room is cooled by natural breezes and a ceiling fan, and can also be accessed by an exterior stone staircase.

Garden & Pool

The 20-metre lap pool dominates one end of the garden, and is complemented by a shallow area suitable for kids and a 4-metre-square pool bar, crafted in creamy-white Palimanan stone with a pitched roof. Guests can sit on a stone shelf within the pool while enjoying drinks from the bar. The pool is bordered by an ironwood deck furnished with synthetic rattan double sun loungers and sun umbrellas. The beautiful garden presents Koi fishponds flanked by expansive lawns, dotted with ancient frangipani trees, yuccas, ceiling wax palms, a butterfly tree and a cockscomb tree. An elevated bale pavilion, accessed by ten steps, offers great views and serves as a fun, wooden playhouse for kids.

Poolside living & dining area

A semi-open living & dining area is located poolside and extends onto the pool deck. Stacked slate pillars support a flat roof above a Palimanan stone floor. The area is furnished with an all-weather rattan segmented sofa, together with chairs and a dining table for eight.

Dining Room

Office

The air-conditioned office is located off the living room and is equipped with a desk and a computer, complete with WiFi internet connection for guest use. There is also a 32” local-channel TV for use with Play station.

Kitchen

The immaculate service kitchen at Villa Double N is fully equipped with an imported oven and a gas hob with five burners. Characterized by grey and black marble work surfaces, there is plenty of storage space, together with a microwave, a large fridge, and everything else that the cook needs to create delicious meals.

Staff

Villa Double N is supported by a carefully selected team of highly trained, friendly staff who will do their best to ensure that their guests experience a truly enjoyable stay in Bali. The team is headed by a villa manager who will oversee and coordinate the staff and property, and is available to assist guests during their stay. The team also includes a cook, housekeepers, a gardener/pool attendant and security guards. The cook is trained in the preparation of both local and international cuisine, and is responsible for all the market shopping, in accordance with the needs and the whims of the guests. The housekeepers fulfil all of the housekeeping duties while also taking care of the daily laundry.

A full-time house manager -
Oversees and coordinates the staff and property and is available to assist guests during their stay.

One cook -
Trained in the preparation of both local and international cuisine. A menu is provided, and the cook will do all the market shopping.

Three maids -
Responsible for housekeeping duties, taking care of your daily laundry and providing waiter service around the grounds and buildings of the property.

Three security guards -
Duties are to patrol the grounds and guard the entrance of the villa from dusk to dawn ensuring your security.

One gardener/Pool attendant -
Tending the garden and the grounds of the villa. Cleaning and maintaining swimming pool.
