The Nusa Dua Bali Festival

A colossal of arts and dramatic performance, exhibitions and cultural discussion, is officially opened with a grand parade.

This spectacular processing showcase the beauty, color and diversity of traditional costumes by thousands of men and women, accompanied by the mystical rhythm of gamelan orchestra. The procession features Nusa Dua Festival’s mascot “Kebo Iwa” a legendary Hindu character, followed by a week-long agenda of activities and cultural performances

Organizing the Bali Tourism Festival 2006, is the effort of the Indonesia Government to achieve the Bali Recovery Program. That’s the reason why Bali Tourism Festival will be held grandiosely, well prepared and safety. The concept of organizing Bali Tourism Festival is a combination of Exhibition – Cultural Performance – Sport – Fun.

Exhibition cultural performance and entertainment will be under the umbrella of Nusa Dua Festival, while the sport activities will be under the umbrella of the Sister Island Games.

- Exhibition
- Blanches Chess
A combination of a game of chess and the art of dancing. The chess pieces will consist of human beings/persons and will be played by players of Grand Master International level. To make it more exciting a special tribune will be constructed.

- Opening & Closing
Splendor and glamorous cultural attractions will be shown and expect the President of the Republic of Indonesia to be present.

- Beach Soccer
This popular beach soccer will also be competed in the Sister Island Games. International and local beach soccer athletes will be competing in Bali’s famous white sand, which will be an attractive show to watch.

- Marathon
International marathon athletes will be participating. The route will go through the scenic tourist areas of Bali.

- Street Festival
Is a cultural parade of the various provinces in Indonesia it will be a dynamic mass attraction, followed by the rhythm of cheerful percussions.
