JCI not worrying Bali’s security

Asia Pacific Conference (ASPAC) is becomes the annual schedule of Junior Chamber International (JCI) in Japan which has important meaning for Bali’s promotion. Because the JCI members that amount 14.000 people from 20 countries have chance to recover the international trust.

“Almost all members of the prior JCI conference in Japan stated they are not worry with the Bali condition, even the security issue is not discussed,” stated the President JCI Indonesia Bali 2006, I Putu G. Wiwien Gunawasika, on Tuesday, June 6. Totally the JCI members until this time are reach 100.000 people from115 countries. He stated, the annual schedule that hold for 5 days on May 24-28 is followed by14.000 members which 10.000 is from Japan.

“The important thing from the JCI members is they commit to come to Bali and stated they are not worry,” he added. The tourism visiting from Japan not recover yet until this time is because of the travel schedule is canceled or is shifted to other countries such as Thailand or Singapore.

According to him, the JCI members as an international organization have important role in taking the government policy. “If we can ensure the JCI member in Japan, of course this is very effective to recovering the Japanese market,” he stated. Moreover for some years Japan have become the market of Bali tourism.

Gunawasika reminded, Indonesia is a part of global competition should anticipate the interest of the other states. “Thailand or Malaysia is the benefited countries from this global competition,” he added. The mass media should not expose the tragedies which could make the tourists worry.

Gunawasika explained, the earthquakes which jolt Yogya and Central Java become special attention. Spontaneously the conference decided to collect donation for the victims. We will donate the victims and the most important result of the conference is service to humanity is the best work of life as JCI attention,” he explained.
