Bali Nusa Dua Festival

Nusa Dua Festival has become regular event since 1997 by Bali Tourism Development Corporation (PT. BTDC) in Nusa Dua Bali. This event becomes satisfactions event because we have performing this event for 9 years, and in 2006 entering the 10th.

The Format of NUSA DUA FESTIVAL itself is combination between EXHIBITION – ART PERFORMANCE and ENTERTAINMENT.

Exhibition followed more than 100 districts province and major cities from Indonesia. Including the member of ITOP, Forum which present a tourism potential, variety handicraft and also investment potential in each area.

The activity of art performance will present culture exhibition from Bali and Indonesia with comparison 50:50, it also shows precessions festival or generally supposed with Street festival from Indonesia such as Reog Ponorogo, Kuntulan, Tabuik, Gendang 9, Sisingaan and precessions from Balinese culture.

Special event entertainment will presents by Indonesian artists and musicians. The materials itself are Pop, Rock and Traditional contemporary. NUSA DUA FESTIFAL 2006 will be more special than before, in this year we will organize a PERCUSSION FESTIVAL which its plan followed by International participant. Festivals will take place during 5 days and go in between other activity such as DOG FESTIVAL, BLANCHESS CHESS, PARADE KICAU, BLAH GANJUR and GEBONGAN RAKSASA which involve Indonesian Record Museum, PAINTING, STATUE CHISEL and FOOD FESTIVAL. In the FOOD FESTIVAL will be more interesting through the participation from hotels in Nusa Dua and its surrounds. This event more complete because will present a multifarious of typical food from hotel in Bali with achievable price.

The 10th Nusa Dua Festival will be held at September 1st - 5th, 2006 in Nusa Dua Bali area Amphy Theatre, Bali Collection and Big Island. Open hour Friday, Monday & Tuesday 16.00 – 21.30 WITA. Saturday, Sunday: 10.00 – 22.00 WITA.

To support the 10th NUSA DUA FESTIVAL, the event will be drawn up by facilities such as: Development Booth Exhibition outward show shack which have measurement of 3 x 4 counted 150 units, Media Center provided with internet, telecommunications and computer, 3 unit stages, religious service place, public toilet, information center, food area and many more.

NUSA DUA FESTIVAL 2006 becomes one of the BALI TOURISM FESTIVAL’S main programs with interesting implementations and also promoted through various media, including e-net utilize to support the succeeded of BALI RECOVERY and our website is www.balinusaduafestival.com.
