THE FIRST BALI INTERNATIONAL MUSICAL FIREWORKS COMPETITION 2006

The First Bali International Musical Fireworks Competition, is the first presentation of such a high technology art showcase, part of a future “World Cup” of Fireworks competitions synchronized on music, with plans for other cities and territories in Asia, Europe and the Americas.

This first presentation in Bali will host a competition of professional pyrotechnics companies representing their countries.

The event will be held in December 2006 till January 2007, and followed annually by the continuation of its presentation in Bali.

The Competition
International Musical Fireworks Competitions reach the heart of the public at the first sparkle. Growing in popularity year after year, the event becomes the population’s annual meeting and the new heartbeat of the island. The countries chosen for this first editions will be announced shortly.

The competition held in Bali will be of a duration of two weeks with Fireworks shows of 30 minutes per country per night and a Grand Finale, presented by the producer of the event, Pyrofest from Canada.

The event swill start with the first country in December 2006 with shows every 3 days to leave sufficient time for setting up by the pyrotechnics companies between each show. The competition will end with the Grand Finale, essentially featuring the best moments of each entry with a grandiose spectacular ending and announcement of the winning country.
