Adjacent to the Bali Bird Park, the Bali Rimba Reptile Park promises to be a fascinating and educational experience for the whole family. Reptiles on display within the green landscape include an eight-meter reticulated python, possibly the largest in captivity, green iguanas, water monitors and crocodiles. An open-air area allows visitors to interact with some of the tamer species. The serpent cave houses a large collection of venomous snakes and the famous Komodo dragons.

While you are in Bali, you can learn one of the most exciting of extreme sports: kitesurfing. In Sanur, where the lagoon and the outside reef are the ideal places for kitting. A protective reef creates flat water cruising conditions inside the lagoon, with waves on the reef varying from 2 - 3 m to 5m. You will be able to go kiteboarding within four hours at the kite surfing centre in Sanur. All you need is to feel comfortable in the water. Helmets with a walkie talkie provide individual one-on-one tuition.

Bali Wind Surfing

Wet season wind surfing on December to March. The on shore winds hitting the west coast of Bali, makes windsurfing very difficult except for the experienced with their own equipment. The shore break and big waves along this coast encourage you to arrange your own rescue as ell. If your are looking to hire gear or take some lessons, you will need to go to Sanur.

The predominant fish species targeted in Bali waters are Yellow Fin Tuna, Blue and Dog Tooth Tuna, Spanish Mackerel, Wahoo, Mahi-Mahi, Rainbow Runner and Giant Trevally.
